GDPR Privacy Policy
I. Basic Provisions
The controller of personal data pursuant to Article 4(7) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (hereinafter referred to as the “GDPR”) is Piano Logistics s.r.o., ID No. 05161291, Rumunská 122/26, Prague 2, 120 00 (hereinafter referred to as the “controller”).

- Personal data means any information about an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, identification number, location data, online identifier, or one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.
II. Sources and Categories of Processed Personal Data
- The controller processes personal data you have provided and/or personal data the controller has obtained in connection with the fulfillment of your order.
- The controller processes your identification and contact information and data necessary for the performance of the contract.
III. Legal Basis and Purpose of Processing Personal Data
- The legal basis for processing personal data is:
- the performance of a contract between you and the controller pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR,
- the legitimate interest of the controller in providing direct marketing (especially for sending commercial messages and newsletters) pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR,
- your consent to processing for the purpose of direct marketing (especially for sending commercial messages and newsletters) pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) GDPR in connection with §7(2) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain services of the information society, if no goods or services were ordered.
- The purpose of processing personal data is:
- to process your order and fulfill the rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship between you and the controller; when placing an order, personal data necessary for successful fulfillment (name, address, contact) are required – without this data, it is not possible to conclude or fulfill the contract,
- to send commercial messages and conduct other marketing activities.
- The controller does / does not engage in automated individual decision-making within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR. Such processing is based on your explicit consent.
IV. Data Retention Period
- The controller retains personal data:
- for the period necessary to exercise the rights and obligations arising from the contractual relationship and to assert claims from these contractual relationships (for 15 years after termination of the contractual relationship),
- until consent to processing for marketing purposes is withdrawn, but no longer than 10 years, if processing is based on consent.
- After the retention period expires, the controller will delete the personal data.
V. Recipients of Personal Data (Controller’s Subcontractors)
- Recipients of personal data include:
- persons involved in the delivery of goods/services/payment processing under the contract,
- persons involved in the operation of services,
- providers of marketing services.
- The controller does not intend to transfer personal data to a third country (outside the EU) or to an international organization. If personal data is transferred to third countries, the recipients are providers of mailing or cloud services.
VI. Your Rights
- Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- the right to access your personal data under Article 15 GDPR,
- the right to rectification of personal data under Article 16 GDPR, or restriction of processing under Article 18 GDPR,
- the right to erasure of personal data under Article 17 GDPR,
- the right to object to processing under Article 21 GDPR,
- the right to data portability under Article 20 GDPR,
- the right to withdraw consent to processing at any time, in writing or electronically, via the controller’s address or email provided in Article I of this policy.
- You also have the right to file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority if you believe your right to personal data protection has been violated.
VII. Data Security
- The controller declares that they have implemented all appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure personal data.
- The controller has adopted technical measures to secure data storage and personal data in physical form, including the use of antivirus software, secure backups, and safe access passwords.
- The controller declares that only authorized persons have access to the personal data.
VIII. Final Provisions
- By submitting an order via the online order form, you confirm that you are familiar with this privacy policy and that you fully accept it.
- You agree to this privacy policy by checking the consent box in the online form. By doing so, you confirm that you are aware of the privacy policy and fully accept it.
- The controller reserves the right to update or change this privacy policy. The new version will be published on the website or sent to the email address you have provided.
